Justin Bieber's Gift To Charity: Cheque For $500,000
It's been an eventful year for the Canadian superstar, with No.1 Christmas albums, sold out tours and even allegations of paternity, but the global superstar can still look back on a 2011 as a hugely successful year which has seen him cement his profile as an A-list star. The event was being held for the charity The Children's Wish Foundation of Canada, though started an hour late, albeit only because Bieber insisted on spending time backstage with three fans diagnosed with life threatening illnesses who'd asked to meet him.
Once on stage the singer gave the fans a stripped down acoustic set that clocked in at almost two hours, being joined on stage only by guitarist Dan Kanter. The performance saw them perform a number of Christmas cover songs and classics as well as some of his hit songs, including 'Baby'. Bieber's year is almost over now, but not before he appears on the final of the 'X Factor US' tonight.
