Justin Bieber Joined By Fellow Canadian Drake As Tour Hits Toronto (Video)
There was a bit of Canadian bonhomie going on as Justin Bieber’s seemingly never ending tour finally got round to touching down in his native land. Bieber appeared at the Rogers Center In Toronto on Friday night (November 30) and had a surprise up his sleeve – a cameo appearance from Canadian rap star Drake.
The Toronto Sun reports that Bieber was looking every inch the grown up that his latest album Believe had tried to suggest that he was, the boy now fully becoming a man. The best moment for the sell-out 60,000 crowd came when he introduced his fellow Canadian music star Drake; the pair played two tour-exclusive duets of Bieber’s ‘Right Here’ and Drake’s hit ‘The Motto’. That wasn’t the only surprise Bieber had up his sleeve, though, with the 18 year-old donning an acoustic guitar for the song ‘Fall’, stripping it back to just the six-stringer and his voice.
As we wrote last week about his show at Madison Square Garden, Bieber had to be on top of his game again with strong tour support in The Weekend and Carly Rae Jepsen both once again putting on strong shows. However the night was always going to be Bieber’s, and with an 100 minute long set you can’t say that he didn’t give his countryfolk value for money.
