Justin Bieber has scored a TransAtlantic album double after landing at number one on America's Billboard 200 with the year's (12) biggest debut.
Three days after the pop star's new release Believe gave him his first U.K. chart-topper, the album has rocketed to number one in the U.S. with 374,000 first-week sales.
It's the 18 year old's fourth number one in just two-and-a-half-years, and it edges out Madonna's 359,000 first-week sales as 2012's best start so far.
However, it doesn't come close to the best sales week of the year so far - that title belongs to Adele, who scored 730,000 sales in the week after the Grammy Awards, where she picked up multiple honours for her hit album 21.
