Justin Bieber - Justin Bieber Being Sued By Photographer: Why?
A photographer is suing Justin Bieber for allegedly ordering his bodyguard to steal his camera, and refusing to give back the memory card.
Justin Bieber is being sued by a photographer for allegedly stealing his camera's memory card.
The Canadian superstar is facing a lawsuit for ordering his bodyguard to seize the card from paparazzo Jeffrey Binion's camera, who claims he was also threatened with a gun by Justin's entourage.
The photographer tried to snap a candid picture of the teen heartthrob leaving a recording studio in Miami last week when Justin's minder Hugo Hesny reportedly threw him against a wall and ''displayed a gun'' while he and the other bodyguards took his camera.
The incident was also audio recorded, and the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker can be heard screaming, ''Get that f**king camera out of here!''
The photographer then begs for his equipment back, to which Justin agrees but says he will keep the memory card.
Binion is now suing both the pop star and his bodyguard, saying he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses following the incident.
His lawyer told TMZ: ''Justin Bieber is now an adult, and he should act like one. He needs to learn that he cannot use bodyguards as weapons to harm innocent people. Bieber's violent behaviour toward photographers must end, and he should take responsibility for his actions.''
''No amount of fame or fortune justifies Bieber's shameful and outrageous conduct. To send him that message and deter his misbehaviour in the future, we will seek punitive damages against him as allowed by Florida law.''
