Justin Bieber is getting pelted from all angles over the delayed start to his show in London this week, in which he kept disgruntled fans and parents waiting around 40 minutes before arriving on-stage. Contrary to recent reports, Greenwich Council has not fined Justin Bieber £300,000 for exceeding a curfew for London's O2 Arena, though the delay appears to have left a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

On the promotional trail for her new single 'Boomerang,' Nicole Scherzinger told Digital Spy that being on time is crucial, especially when catering to a younger audience. Asked if she would have waited to watch Justin Bieber, X-Factor judge Nicole said, "I mean if it were someone like Whitney Houston I'd be waiting! I'm getting too old to stay up late these days so I don't have a lot of patience for that kind of thing. My team run this ship like a military. I run a tight, tight ship." Scherzinger shares a similar fan-base to young Bieber and explained, "When you've got a lot of young fans like I do, it's important to be on time. Especially if they have school the next day!"

Bieber was expected on-stage at 9.30pm on Monday evening, though didn't begin his first track until nearly 10.15pm, with many parents forced to leave the show early to catch public transport.  The 19-year-old apologized on Twitter for his lateness, saying, "Last night I was scheduled after 3 opening acts to go on stage at 935 not 830 but because of some technical issues I got on at 10:10. There is no excuse and I apologise for anyone we upset. However it was a great show and I'm proud of that."
