Bieber and Gomez were photographed frolicking on the back deck of the yacht at around 6pm on Friday evening (1st July 2011). Eyewitness William Coldwell, who was working on a nearby boat, said, "They were messing around. They showed affection, but it wasn't like they were groping each other". Coldwell also claimed that Bieber 'took off his shirt" and began, "playing patty-cake with Selena" A day earlier, the celebrity couple had dined at the exclusive Siam Inn Thai restaurant in New York's theatre district. A source revealed the duo chatted about the latest Transformers movie while enjoying Thai rolls and a number of rice dishes, adding, "All those little girls catching 'Wicked' at the Gershwin probably would have thrown their mothers off the balcony to get a glimpse if they'd known that Justin and Selena were just down the block".
