Milgrim-Heath©2010A loving,gentle man Blake Edwards passed away-After being ill from pneumonia on 12/15/10 on that very sad day.The man Blake left his widow his loving wife since 1969-The iconic actress Julie Andrews that made his happiness complete and divine.Left a legacy for five children,7 grand-children and 2 great-grand children as well-Had a lifetime devotion being a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather-he was swell.By this grieving family one does really understand-Since Blake Edwards brought joy to them as such a loving man.Joy and laughter to the world he did bring-As he made the world a better place for others by imagination with everything.Director Blake Edwards was active in both the television and movie industry-From the years of iconic movie era of the 1950’s to era of the 1990’s.His forte by comedies being the most popular were 8 Pink Panther movies we’ve remembered thus-As well as Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the movie 10 he entertained all of us.There were others as well and the alcohol-themed melodrama that was one notable exception-That was excellent as well under Director Edwards’ superb direction.His iconic actress wife starred Darling Lilli,Victor/Victoria, S.O.B and the movie 10-What wonderful films those where when I saw them back when!All of his children appeared in his movies under his direction-But there was one child that didn’t being the only exception.In a personal illness struggle for 15 years in the 1970’s-Edwards documented it I Remember Me dealt with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome the world still sees.An Honorary Academy Award received proudly during the 2004 year-Was presented to him for his 50 years achievement span by his long entertainment career.So sleep in peaceful sleep dear gentle man-Entertaining God and his many angels in heaven as only you can.
