Julianne Moore - Julianne Moore Spent Hours On Her Ipod To Perfect Sarah Palin's Pitch
Julianne Moore spent hours listening to former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin on her iPod to perfect the politician's distinctive voice.
The Oscar-winner portrays the one-time Vice President candidate in upcoming film Game Change, based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin's book which chronicles John MCCain's failed 2008 presidential run.
And Moore admits getting Palin's personality just right has been extremely tough - especially when trying to perfect her high-pitched voice.
She says, "It was hard, really, really hard... I worked really hard. It's hard to play someone who is very present in people's minds, who's on television, very idiosyncratic, I did my best. We'll see, I hope we pulled it off.
"(It took) an incredible amount of practice (to get her accent right). I had to listen to it over and over again. My son was embarrassed because (Palin's speeches were) all that was on my iPod. He said, 'Where's your music?' I erased all my music."
But there is one person who won't be impressed by Moore's hard work - Palin is refusing to support the film.
