The Strokes - Julian Casablancas Signs First Artists To New Label

Singer Donald Cumming, bassist Max Kamins, guitarist Xan Aird and drummer John Eatherly will release their second album, Strike Gently, in March (13), via Casablancas' Cult Records.

And the rock star has high hopes for his first signings: "When I first saw The Virgins I was psyched there was such a rad (cool) new band from Nyc.

"Donald is such an awesome guy and it's great to meet someone who's such a true artist. I think they've made a classic record and we’re really excited they chose to work with us."
