Talk TV World reported more good news for the network too, with a second airing of new comedy 'Girls' posting figures of 1.1 million, whilst 'Game Of Thrones' continued its successful run - rising slightly from the previous weekend's figures. The show started at 9pm and drew numbers of 3.7 million viewers on its first airing, topping that up to 4.6 million during the night after its second showing. In the season to date, the series is drawing a mighty 10.4 million viewers across all Hbo formats, proving yet another critically and statistically successful program for the network.
'Veep' follows the day-to-day existence of Vice President Meyer as she attempts to go about her job dealing with political arguments and trying to cope with her own intense personal life as well. Created by writer Armando Iannucci, the comedy stars Anna Chlumsky, Tony Hale and Matt Walsh alongside Louis-Dreyfus and uses the same style of cinema-verite filming method as Iannucci's Bbc political comedy 'The Thick Of It'.
