Jude Law's Children Banned Him From School
Jude Law was banned by his children from picking them up from school while filming 'Anna Karenina'.
The British actor plays the leading role of Alexei Karenin in the movie - starring Keira Knightley as the titular character - and he admits his eldest kids, Rafferty, 15, Iris, 11 and Rudy, nine, would not allow him to go to their school when he had to have an unflattering haircut and beard.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''What did my children think about my beard? I don't know I'll have to ask them. They were more worried about my haircut. My children banned me from being at their school unless I was wearing a hat.''
Jude was particularly delighted to play a role in the movie, which also stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, because they could put a new spin on the classic Leo Tolstoy novel.
He said: ''It could be called five people in love. It's true to say that at the heart of the story, this book, is this wonderful love story but that does simplify it. What was exciting about this was possibility of showing all the elements.''
