Joss Stone - Joss Stone Gives Awards To Parents
Joss Stone hands over all her awards to her parents - the British singer fears she'd become too "big-headed" displaying prizes in her own home.
The soul star has racked up an impressive list of accolades in her career, including a Best R&B Performance Grammy for Family Affair, her collaboration with John Legend and Van Hunt, and two Brit Awards.
But Stone refuses to keep the trophies on her mantle in case her ego gets out of hand.
She tells The Huffington Post, "I can't believe I've got a Grammy! My mum has the Grammy somewhere. People say, 'Where do you keep your Grammy?' But I don't have anything in my house like that, I don't have the Grammy up on the mantle or a Brit or any of those plaques that you get when you sell records and stuff.
"I give it to my mum and my dad because they love them and they're really proud of them. I am too, but I can't walk around my house looking at this Grammy all day long. I'd get really big-headed, so I just ignore it and then I get really excited when I remember."
