Transformers - Josh Duhamel Develops Soap-themed Tv Drama

Transformers hunk Josh Duhamel is moving into Tv development after selling a new drama to executives at America's Abc network.

The actor has come up with a new show about the workings of a Tv soap opera alongside writers Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts.

Duhamel will executive produce the series with Goldie Hawn's actor son Oliver Hudson, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The pair will also make cameo appearances but will not play regular characters.

The concept comes from real-life experience for Duhamel - he worked on Abc's longrunning soap All My Children, which ran for 41 years until it was cancelled in 2011.
