Joseph Gordon-levitt Wants More Cycle Lanes In New York City
Joseph Gordon-Levitt is urging New York politicians to cut the number of cars in the city by introducing more cycle lanes.
The actor plays a bike messenger in Manhattan in new movie Premium Rush and he became involved in a real life accident during filming when he crashed his cycle into a Big Apple taxi cab.
Gordon-Levitt now wants to see the city made safer for cyclists with the introduction of more bicycle lanes on the roads.
He tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "I think it's great for the city to support bike riding - and the more bikes and the fewer cars in the city, the better it will be."
