Joseph Gordon-levitt - Joseph Gordon-levitt To Play Gotham City Cop
Joseph Gordon-levitt - Joseph Gordon-levitt, the American actor and star of 'Inception', has officially joined the cast of Christopher Nolan's 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Gordon-levitt will play Gotham City beat cop 'John Blake' in the highly anticipated new movie, reports Slash Film.
Nolan has also added several other 'Inception' stars to the cast of the new movie. French actress Marion Cotillard will play 'Miranda Tate', a board member at 'Wayne Enterprises' who is allied with Bruce Wayne. Tom Hardy has already been cast as the villain 'Bane' and Michael Caine will reprise his role as 'Alfred' the butler. In a statement announcing the new cast members, Nolan said, "When you collaborate with people as talented as Marion and Joe, it comes as no surprise that you would want to repeat the experience. I immediately thought of them for the roles of Miranda and Blake, and I am looking forward to working with both of them again". 'The Dark Knight Rises' will also feature Christian Bale as 'Bruce Wayne' and Anne Hathaway as 'Selina Kyle' aka 'Catwoman'. The film is scheduled for release on 20th July 2012.
Before starting work on the movie, Joseph Gordon-levitt will first complete filming on the forthcoming action sci-fi movie 'Looper' with Bruce Willis and EMILY BLUNT.
