Jorgie Porter - Jorgie Porter Gives Partner Bloody Injury But Still Tops The Score Cards In 'Dancing On Ice'

Jorgie Porter became the latest blonde actress to be involved in a 'Dancing On Ice' blood bath, although unlike fellow contestant Jennifer Ellison it was in fact her doing the splicing as her blades cut professional partner MATT EVERS right between the eyes during practise. Footage of the incident was shown during the show and it resulted in the skater having to wear a large plaster over the injury as the couple then performed live. However if Evers was now feeling slightly nervous at the thought of performing with Porter it didn't show as the pair topped the judges scorecards, according to New Magazine.

It says much for the chemistry between the pair that they elected to include the move that caused the cut in their final routine despite it leading to a trip to hospital and stitches for Evers during the week. Following a score of 26.5, Porter admitted "I would rather do the headbanger move 14 times in a row than do the neck spin again." Previously it had been former 'Coronation Street' actress Ellison who'd been in the wars, suffering both a clobber to the head and a cut on the thigh during dances with her partner DAN WHISTON.

SAM NIXON and CHICO who found themselves in the bottom two this weekend, and ultimately all the judges opted to save the one-hit wonder. Nixon however was philosophical as he left the show, commenting "This experience has been absolutely brilliant. What a privilege to be taught by Torvill and Dean." The rest will just be glad they came through unscathed.
