Slipknot star JOEY JORDISON has been voted the best drummer of the past 25 years in a new magazine poll.
The musician came top in the survey by U.K. publication Rhythm - and he's stunned by the result of the rundown, saying, "This is beyond unbelievable. Something like this reminds me every day why I continue to do this."
Mike Portnoy of U.S. band Dream Theater claimed second place, while the third spot went to Gavin Harrison of British rockers Porcupine Tree.
Rush's Neil Peart came fourth in the vote with Foo Fighters frontman and former Nirvana drummer Dave Grohl rounding out the top five.
