Jones Eyes Dad's Broadway Role
Actress RASHIDA JONES is appealing to her music mogul dad QUINCY JONES to finally unveil his Broadway show - because she wants to make her New York stage debut in the play.
The producer revealed last month (Jun09) he's close to launching his work The Genesis and Evolution of Jazz and Blues as a theatre production and 3-D Pixar film - 33 years after conceiving the project.
And Rashida is eyeing a role in the play - but would happily look for another part on Broadway if her father's production falls through.
She tells the New York Daily News, "I would definitely do it. I was thinking about doing Broadway anyway, but doing his show would just sweeten the deal."
