Welsh singer Aled Jones' nine-year-old daughter is following him into showbiz - she's landed a West End role in Shrek The Musical.

"Did I need to worry? No. Mels is not scared of anything. She hasn't got the insecurities an adult has. I suppose my parents had them for me, like I do for Mels."
