Jonathan Rhys Meyers hates shooting sex scenes because make-up gets applied to your butt.

The Irish hunk thinks the least enjoyable thing about being an actor is having to get steamy with your co-stars in front of the rest of the cast and crew.

He told German TV channel Tele 5: "It is embarrassing every time. You have to pretend that you're passionately making love and forget the whole world. But of course you're on set with about 20 people, a camera and a make-up woman conceals the pimples on your butt."

Although Jonathan hates shooting sex scenes, the 'Match Point' star is finding his profession easier as he gets older.

The 32-year-old star added: "I am now 32 and everything that has happened so far, I call my apprenticeship. The rest of my career I can loosen up."
