Jonah Hill's Saturday Night Live Fails To Captivate Audience
Hill was always going to be up against it; Lohan's appearance was seen by many as a great return to prominence following months of toil and community service as she sought to rebuild her reputation following a series of convictions. Although critics weren't wholly responsive to the star when the big moment finally came, she nevertheless drew an impressive 5.5 rating for her turn. Hill however couldn't even turn a guest appearance from legendary Hollywood actor Tom Hanks into a successful score, clocking in at a much, much lower 4.3 in the metered-market household, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Worryingly for the 'snl' team, the all important 18-49 age demographic failed to ignite whatsoever with an average 2.6 rating down double digits from last week.
The episode at the weekend called on cast members Andy Samberg and Taran Killam among others as Sarah Palin was spoofed, whilst there was also a Japanese game show and a fine impression of Rush Limbaugh.
