Jon Hamm: Kim Kardashian Has The Right To Be Offended
Kim Kardashian has lashed out at the Mad Men actor, Jon Hamm for his recent remarks, in which he branded her as a "f*cking idiot." Kardashian used her Twitter account to respond to him and, in a post that overlooked the '140 character' rule, posted a counterargument that read "I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, "stupid," is in my opinion careless."
After posting the message, this seemed to be her final say on the matter, as she quickly returned to 'tweeting' about more superficial matters, such as her hair colour (she misses her blonde hair, it would appear) and her lingerie photo shoots with her sisters (for Kardashian Kollection Intimates, of course). Jon Hamm has, in return, responded by saying that his remarks were a comment on society as a whole and not intended to be personal.
He told E! Online "It's surprising to me that it has become remotely a story," he told E! News. "I don't know Ms. Kardashian, I know her public persona. What I said was meant to be more on pervasiveness of something in our culture, not personal, but she took offense to it and that is her right." If Kim was after an apology, from Hamm, that probably wasn't quite what she was looking for.
