Jon Gosselin - Jon Gosselin Tells Kate: I Was Passive Aggressive
Jon Gosselin has finally apologized to his former wife Kate Gosselin, three years after the pair made headlines with a messy and acrimonious divorce. Jon tells People magazine that he and Kate are getting along now, and that he's sorry for the way he behaved.
The couple rose to fame with reality show 'Jon and Kate Plus 8', which profiled the pair as they raised their family of sextuplets and twins. However, they divorced in June 2009, with Kate remaining in Pennsylvania with the children. After dating a "steady stream of women" following the split, Gosslin moved back to the state in 2011 and recently took a job as director of sales and promotions for Gameface Int. Reflecting on the couple's divorce, Jon admitted, "I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn't want done to me.I was passive-aggressive.Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating". Nowadays, Jon says things are different, saying, "I'll call [Kate] up and say, 'Mady's sick. What do I do?' And she'll tell me.She's a great Mom. We just have different parenting styles". Gosselin says he would consider a return to the entertainment business, but only for the right deal. He added, "I used to talk to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach (Michael Jackson's rabbi) a lot when I lived in New York.He said, 'There are two things you can do with your fame - sell out or take it and use it for good.' I didn't grasp that at the time".
Last year, Tlc announced that 'Kate Plus 8' - the reality show without Jon - would not be returning. It aired its final episode on September 12, 2011.
