Jon Bon Jovi - Jon Bon Jovi's Teenage Daughter Arrested
Jon Bon Jovi's teenage daughter is facing a string of drug charges after police responded to an emergency call at her New York college on Wednesday morning (14Nov12).
Police officers and emergency medical technicians were called to Hamilton College amid allegations Stephanie Rose Bongiovi had suffered an overdose and was unresponsive.
The 19 year old was found alive, but police discovered a "small quantity" of heroin, marijuana and drug paraphernalia during a search of her dorm room.
Bongiovi and 21-year-old student Ian S. Grant were arrested and taken into custody.
A spokesman for the Kirkland Police tells Hollyscoop.com, "She was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, criminally using drug paraphernalia - all class A misdemeanours - and unlawful possession of marijuana."
The two students were subsequently released and Bongiovi, the eldest of Bon Jovi's four children with his wife Dorothea, has been ordered to appear in court at a later date.
A representative for Bon Jovi has declined to comment on the report.
The news will come as a shock for the Bon Jovi frontman, who has been hitting the headlines for positive actions in recent weeks - he has cut short his commitments so he can devote time to helping the recovery effort in his native New Jersey following Hurricane Sandy last month (Oct12).
