Angelina Jolie - Jolie Has A Steele-y Gaze Set Upon Fifty Shades Of Grey Role?

Anyone following entertainment news in recent months will be all but too aware of the current rumours surrounding the upcoming film adaptation of 50 Shades Of Grey and possible female leads to play the role of Anastasia Steele. Knowing the character of Anastasia is a quiet and submissive virgin who studies journalism, we here at Contactmusic were never expecting to hear what we're about to tell you; apparently Angelina Jolie is the latest actress connected to the role.

Jolie supposedly became hooked on E L James's story of BDSM whilst in the UK during the shooting of her new film Maleficent, according the The Mirror (UK). However, whilst the 37-year-old actress might be some people's number one pick to star in such a raunchy film, given that she is 15 years older than Steele, she might struggle to convince producers that she is the best choice for the role.

Recently, Fifty Shades of Grey and its two follow-up novels Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed topped the USA Today list of best selling books for the month of July, whilst the trilogy bundle came in at sixth.
