Jolie Bodyguards Accused Of Causing School Fracas
Bodyguards protecting ANGELINA JOLIE have been accused of "roughing up" children and parents at an Indian school during shooting for new movie A MIGHTY HEART. Filming went smoothly today (16NOV06) until the gates at the Anjuman-e-Islam school in Mumbai were opened to allow parents to collect their children. MOHAMMED YUSUF PATNI, general secretary of the school's Parent Teacher Association, says, "Jolie's bodyguard called one parent, 'You bloody Indian.' Children were pushed around. Mothers were also shoved aside by the guards." But a spokesperson for British production company Dallington TV, which organised the school shoot, insists the blame lies with paparazzi and television crews who rushed through the open gates to get close to Jolie. A statement reads, "We had the full permission and cooperation of the school to film on the premises. When the gates were opened to allow the parents in to collect their children, the paparazzi rushed the school causing confusion." This is not the first time security staff protecting Jolie, BRAD PITT and their three children have caused controversy since their arrival in India last month (OCT06). An Associated Press photographer claimed he was punched and threatened with a gun on the A Mighty Heart set last month, and another photographer was allegedly attacked outside Jolie's hotel in Pune just days earlier.
