Johnny Gill - Johnny Gill Engaged To Wed Model

The R&B veteran has been dating a model known only as Carissa for over three years and the couple is set to wed, but their planned nuptials have already experienced a delay - Gill reveals he and his wife-to-be had initially hoped to exchange vows in July (11), but had to put the ceremony on hold while he worked on his upcoming album, Still Winning.

He tells Sister 2 Sister magazine, "Originally we were going to do July, and then the album came out..."

Still Winning, due to hit music retailers next week (20Sep11), is Gill's first solo studio album in 15 years.

Gill, who was dogged by rumours suggesting he was gay a decade ago, has been romantically linked to U.S. TV presenter Jillian Barberie Reynolds and singer Stacy Lattisaw.
