Johnny Depp - Johnny Depp To Release Sequel To Rogue's Gallery Compilation

Johnny Depp and his Pirates Of The Caribbean director pal Gore Verbinski are planning a sequel to their quirky 2006 compilation of sea shanties.

Depp, Lou Reed, Nick Cave, Bono and Bryan Ferry were among the performers on Rogue's Gallery, and the second installment is set to be another eclectic mix of odd musicians.

Son of Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys will feature Depp performing with punk icon Patti Smith, Tom Waits collaborating with Keith Richards and a duet between Courtney Love and former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe.

The two-Cd set, which will be released in February (13), will kick off with Shane MACGowan's Leaving of Liverpool, which features Depp and Verbinski.

Other acts appearing on the odd album include Ivan Neville, Iggy Pop, Sean Lennon, MACy Gray, Gavin Friday and Marianne Faithfull.
