John Wayne - John Wayne's Eye-patch To Be Auctioned Off

The eye-patch John Wayne wore as Rooster Cogburn in the original True Grit movie is set to go under the hammer at auction.
The iconic item of memorabilia from the 1969 western is expected to fetch a small fortune when Heritage Auctions offer it off in Los Angeles in October (11) as part of a sale of John Wayne's personal archive.
Also on sale will be the movie great's cowboy boots and hats and his passport.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit John Wayne Enterprises, which supports and funds the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.
