John Travolta - John Travolta Sued By Author Of Gay Relations Book
John Travolta is having a seriously grim run of it right now, with allegations regarding his sexuality cropping up left, right and centre. In the latest turn of events for the troubled actor, a Los Angeles man named Robert Randolph who once wrote a book about Travolta, has now filed a libel lawsuit against the Grease actor, claiming that Travolta and his lawyer, Marty Singer, spread false statements about his mental health back in 2010, in an effort to dissuade the public from buying the book.
The book in question is entitled 'You'll Never Spa in This Town Again' and allegedly contains details of the author's sexual encounters with Travolta. Reuters reports that Singer has responded by dismissing Randolph's lawsuit as "absurd." As with all of the cases that have been brought against Travolta in recent weeks, Singer has put up a display of crass confidence, releasing a statement to say "We intend to sue the attorneys for malicious prosecution after the court promptly dismisses this baseless lawsuit." The amount of damages that Randolph is seeking has not been disclosed.
Randolph's book was eventually published in February 2012, just a few months before Travolta would find himself being sued by two unidentified male masseurs. Both men filed sexual assault lawsuits against Travolta. Travolta has been married to the actress Kelly Preston since 1991.
