John Stamos has received an apology from Charlie Sheen after the 'Two and a Half Men' star insulted him earlier this week.
John Stamos, the American actor best known for his roles on 'Full House' and 'ER', has received an apology from Charlie Sheen, following comments made by the troubled actor earlier this week, reports OnTheRedCarpet.com.Stamos had been rumoured to be replacing Sheen on 'Two and a Half Men' after Cbs halted production of its current season. Reacting to the speculation, Sheen told Access Hollywood, "I like John, but he doesn't have what I have and the show sucks if he's on it". However, the 45-year-old actor has since retracted the comments, telling Kabc Television, "I want to issue an apology to John Stamos. I was out of line. You're a beautiful man and a talented man and if you get the gig, we should talk". The apology comes after a turbulent few weeks for Sheen, who has been the subject of intense media attention following his hospitalisation for drug and alcohol abuse. The actor, recognised as America's highest paid television star, is currently undergoing rehabilitation at his home in Los Angeles.
John Stamos, who stars as 'Dr Carl Howell' in the hit musical-comedy Glee, recently signed on to appear as a guest star in crime-drama 'Law & Order: SVU'.
