John Lennon Lock Up For Auction
The hair, which is expected to sell for between £2,000 and £3,000, will be part of The Betty Glasgow Collection of Beatles and Film Memorabilia, to be auctioned off by Gorringes in Worthing on December 12th.
Accompanying the lock is a note from the late musician, given to Ms Glasgow who worked on the THE BEATLES' films a HARD DAY'S NIGHT and HELP, reports Bang Media International.
"To Betty, lots of love and hair from John Lennon x x," the note says.
"It was great fun working with the boys on the films. They were always together in a group and having a laugh," revealed Ms Glasgow.
"My job was to keep their hair in order as the film was made over three months, so their trademark, mop-top haircuts had to be regularly trimmed."
