John Galliano To Sue Dior?

John Galliano is reportedly suing his former employer Dior for $15 million.

The controversial fashion designer - who became creative director at Dior in 1996 - has reportedly filed an employee/employer dispute claim with French the industrial tribunal Paris Conseil des prud'hommes and a court hearing is scheduled for February 4 2013, according to The Telegraph newspaper.

Galliano was dismissed by Dior in March 2012 after he was accused of making drunken anti-Semitic remarks in a Paris bar, which he blamed on his addictions to DRUGS and alcohol.

Sidney Toledano, The Fashion house's president and CEO, said at the time: ''I condemn most firmly the statements made by John Galliano which are a total contradiction with the essential values that have always been defended by the House of Christian Dior.''

The 51-year-old British designer has also recently been stripped of France's prestigious Legion d'Honneur award because of his conviction for racism.

He was presented with the award at the Elysée Palace in 2010 and held the title alongside other several other fashion greats such as YVES SAINT LAURENT, Marc Jacobs and Azzedine Alaïa.

Galliano - who was awarded the British Fashion Designer of the Year award four times - has been keeping a low profile since the incident.
