Johansson Shed Blonde Glamour For Nanny Diaries

Stunning star SCARLETT JOHANSSON lost her trademark blonde hair so she could look "normal" on screen in new movie THE NANNY DIARIES. Director Robert Pulcini admits Johansson was desperate to shed her glamorous image for the role, which sees her as a college graduate who works as a nanny for a rich family. Pulcini says, "She wanted to look a very ordinary girl. Scarlett dyed her hair brown. She didn't want to persist with the Hollywood glamour look and she pulled it off."

This film may not have been a 10, but one thing it does capture is the emotional connection between the nanny and child. Just like Scarlett in the movie, the nannies get attached / connected to the children. Nannies wants what is in the best interest for the child, even if that makes them miserable at times.Yes, the story may have been stretched a bit - but, it is a movie. I could have done without the flying umbrella, but did not think the movie was all that bad.For information on a children's book about nannies and the children they care for: visit www.mynannyandi.com. This book, like the movie captures the true essence of the nanny – child relationship. It may also be purchased at Amazon.com and Borders Online for $7.99 US.This is a high quality board book for young children, featuring lift-the-flaps, and a custom photo frame where you can insert a picture of you and your charge!
