Jo Wood is ready to meet a new man.

The 55-year-old former model - who split from Rolling Stones rocker Ronnie Wood in 2008 after 23 years of marriage when he left her for cocktail waitress Katia Ivanova - is looking forward to meeting someone "lovely" in the near future, despite her hectic schedule.

She said: "As for love, I don't have time for a new man but when I move in to my apartment I know I'll meet someone really lovely."

Jo - who divorced Ronnie in November 2009 - has also revealed she and Ronnie don't keep in close contact, despite having two children, Leah, 31 and 26-year-old Tyrone, together.

Speaking about her decision to undertake a month-long pilgrimage across India, Tibet and Nepal this year, Jo - who also has a son Jamie, 35, from a previous relationship - revealed her children and mother all expressed their concerns when she told them, but she had not spoken to Ronnie about it.

She told Britain's HELLO! magazine: "Jamie freaked out. 'You can't do that mum, it's too dangerous,' he warned. My mum was worried because there had been a train crash in India.

"As for Ronnie, I've no idea what he thought, we haven't spoken in ages."

Ronnie, 63, is now in a relationship with Brazilian beauty Ana Araujo, 30.
