The partnership will see 'Super 8' screened in 300 theatres tomorrow, including 239 Imax locations. Twitter have designated the hash-tag 'Super8Secret' to help promote the 'secret screenings'. Fans wishing to see the movie early can purchase tickets through the micro-blogging website, and will be entitled to free popcorn with any concessions ticket. The promotion continues the partnership between Twitter and Paramount Pictures first forged in March, when Twitter premiered the first trailer of the movie. Directed by Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg, 'Super 8' follows a group of friends who witness a horrific train crash while making an independent movie. The film stars Elle Fanning, Kyle Chandler and Ryan Lee.

Jj Abrams is perhaps best known as the co-creator of ABC's acclaimed series 'Lost'. In recent years he has also directed a number of feature films, most notably 'Mission Impossible Iii' and 'Star Trek'. He is scheduled to produce a forthcoming 'Cloverfield' sequel, having worked on the original film in 2008.
