Jimmy Buffett Checks Out Of Hospital After Concert Accident
It was reported that Buffett was bleeding heavily for ten minutes before paramedics arrived at the scene and shocked fans were ushered out of the venue as the singer was rushed to hospital. Luckily, a gig goer named Gordian Fulde, who is a surgeon by profession, quickly came to Buffett’s aid whilst medical staff arrived at the venue. After being treated by doctors, Buffett is said to be in a stable condition and yesterday a statement posted on his website read, “As you probably already know, Jimmy had an accident while performing in Sydney last night and was taken to the hospital”, an updated post today reads, “Jimmy has been released from the hospital and is doing well”. The concert at the Pavilion came after Buffett had performed two sold out shows at the Sydney Opera House on Monday and Tuesday.
Although the reason for the singer’s fall is not yet known, it has been suggested that the flashing lights at the venue may have blinded the 64-year-old and caused him to lose his balance.
