Jim Jones - Jim Jones Sued Over Axed Gig
08 October 2012Rapper Jim Jones has been hit with a lawsuit over a Miami, Florida concert which was scrapped following a shoot-out.
The Diplomats star was booked to perform at Coco's Nightclub in May (12), but the gig was shut down shortly before he was due onstage after shots were fired inside the venue.
A member of Jones' entourage is believed to have been responsible for the incident, which prompted security to evacuate the club.
Owners of Coco's Nightclub are now seeking the return of their $5,000 (£3,125) deposit, in addition to damages for breach of contract and lost revenue.
