Jessie J allegedly struggled to make any money from her music last year.

The 'Who You Are' singer has landed a job on 'The Voice' and lucrative sponsorship deals since 2011 but until this year wasn't making much profit from her ventures according to reports.

Documents filed at London's Companies House for the year ending last August reveal she had a near £20,000 loss.

While Jessie J had £360,000 in the account of her concert firm Who You Are Touring and was owed £210,000, she had to pay creditors £590,000.

Another of her firms, Who You Are Ltd, apparently made just £387.

A source told The Sun: ''Jessie's first-year figures aren't great but quite often royalties from sales and radio play take a while to come through.

''Until last summer, she had played mostly relatively small gigs and been hampered by a leg injury.

The insider added: ''But these days Jessie has deals with drink firm Vitamin Water and MasterCard, plus her fees from this year's No1 single 'Domino' and her work on 'The Voice' have delivered serious boosts to her bank balance.''
