Jessica Simpson opened up about her forthcoming wedding, in an interview with Extra earlier this week. Jessica Simpson is to marry Eric Johnson sometime soon, but revealed that despite speculation, no date has been set: "I've heard people throw around dates and not one of them has nailed it. Not even close." She also said that she's still looking for that perfect wedding dress, and spoke of her excitement about the big day: "I don't have a dress yet.The dress is going to be amazing. With a wedding, it should be a celebration like we should all be having fun, every single person there."

Some have speculated that Simpson has started talking to the press about her wedding because her former husband Nick Lachey recently got married to former Miss USA VANESSA MANNILLO just two weeks ago. Gather Celebs reported that it was no coincidence that Simpson announced her engagement to Johnson just days after Nick & Vanessa's announcement. Simpson also told Extra that she was 'super-focused' on her new NBC show Fashion Star, and that was her priority at the moment.
