Simpson was photographed picking up numerous items in a couple of stores, while her assistant carried her weighty bags. The mother-to-be recently told US Weekly magazine that she has no intention of taking the weight off her feet, and vowed to continue wearing high heeled shoes whenever she could, saying, "'I'm probably going to deliver my baby in these [4-inch Ysl heels]". To be fair to Simpson, she appeared comfortable enough on her feet, despite opting for the dangerously high footwear. She is currently expecting her first child with former Nfl star Eric Johnson, whom she will marry later this year.

The pregnancy certainly doesn't appear to be slowing Simpson down work-wise, and her new reality show 'Fashion Star' hits screens later this month. The singer will act as a mentor on the show, alongside Nicole Richie and designer John Varvatos, as they search for a new star in the world of fashion design.
