Knute (pronounced Ka-Nute) is in honour of Eric's Swedish Grandfather. They've had some time to work on the name too as Simpson accidently revealed the sex of the baby in March. But the couple had decided on Ace for a boy's name in February.
The 32-year-old has been in a relationship with NFL player Eric Johnson since May 2010. The couple have been engaged since the November of that year. The marriage ceremony has been postponed as Simpson has been dealing with pregnancy and new-borns. Apparently her plan is to get married before she gets pregnant again. A source told US Weekly that at a Weight Watcher's meeting Simpson said she'd told Johnson 'Let's have this wedding already before I get pregnant with another one!'"
