The Help beauty plays Hardy's love interest in the new Prohibition-era gangster film, and she admits the thought of getting intimate with anyone on screen made her uncomfortable - and she had to get to know the British actor before locking lips with him on camera.

She tells People magazine, "We became buddies and played Scrabble on-set, so that made it (kissing Hardy) easier for me, but I'm shy. When I read a script and there's kissing, I always feel like I got punched in the stomach. Acting is a bit embarrassing: nudity, kissing, dancing."
