Jesse Eisenberg - Jesse Eisenberg's '30 Minutes Or Less' Fails To Impress

Jesse Eisenberg's new comedy-drama '30 Minutes or Less' about a pizza delivery guy who has a bomb strapped to him, has failed to impress critics ahead of its release this weekend. The movie, directed by Ruben Fleischer, has been well hyped in recent weeks but initial reviews leave much to be desired.
The movie, which sees Eisenberg's character forced to rob a bank in order to have the bomb deactivated, is Fleischer's first effort since the well-received Zombieland. Cnn movie critic Mark Rabinowitz said of the flick, "It's a decent way to spend 90 minutes if you have nothing else to do, but it doesn't exactly scream 'See me in the theater'. During a recent interview with Collider, Jesse explained, "When I got the script, I just thought, it's an amazing vehicle, the bomb, to have these two guys do something they would otherwise never do". Time Magazine critic Richard Corliss was less than impressed with the film, saying, "For a soul-sucking 83 minutes, you're trapped inside the film's tiny, ugly mind", while the Tri-City Herald bluntly noted, "30 Minutes or Less. Take the less".
Jesse is currently shooting Woody Allen's latest comedy 'The Bop Decameron', although the movie's plot is safely under wraps. He recently wrapped up filming comedy-drama 'Predisposed', about a drug addicted mother who prepares to enter rehab as her son readies himself for an interview at Julliard School of Performing Arts.
