Jerry Weintraub - Jerry Weintraub Saddened By Elizabeth Taylor's Suffering

Hollywood producer Jerry Weintraub was "very sad" to learn of his friend Elizabeth Taylor's death last month (Mar11) after witnessing her declining health in recent years.
The screen icon passed away last week (23Mar11) after losing her long battle with congestive heart disease at the age of 79.
Weintraub admits he was upset to see Taylor suffer throughout her final years, as he's convinced she could have lived to 100 if her health had been better.
He tells Cnn host Piers Morgan, "I was very, very sad to see her go... I was very sad about how sick she was at the end and how much she suffered, because she obviously suffered a lot and she had illnesses all through her life.
"It's too bad she went at her age, she could have gone to 90, or 100 would have been much better."
