Jerry Lewis - Jerry Lewis Back As Labor Day Telethon Host

Comedian Jerry Lewis has been reinstated as the host of America's Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon after reconciling with charity bosses.
Lewis has hosted the event annually since 1966, but the 85 year old was told he would not be needed for this year's (11) telethon.
He had previously revealed that the 2011 telethon would be his last.
But Mda chairman Dr. R. Rodney Howell announced Lewis would not be a part of the upcoming fundraiser, stating, "He will not be appearing on the telethon."
No reason was given for Lewis' ousting.
But a source tells the Las Vegas Review-Journal, "Lewis and the Muscular Dystrophy Association have made peace."
The telethon has raised over $2 billion for Muscular Dystrophy charities since it began.
