Jermaine Jackson - Jermaine Jackson Files Papers To Change Last Name

Jermaine Jackson has filed legal papers in a bid to change his famous last name.

The singer, who shot to fame with his brothers in The Jackson 5, submitted documents at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Tuesday (06Nov12) asking to have his surname altered to Jacksun.

In the papers, obtained by Tmz.com, the star claims he wants to make the change for "artistic reasons".

The request has not yet been approved by a judge, but a future hearing has been scheduled.
