Jermaine: 'Abuse Victim Cleared Jackson'

MICHAEL JACKSON's alleged abuse victim has cleared the KING OF POP's name by insisting the singer "never touched" him, according to the star's brother JERMAINE.

Jackson was the centre of a 13-month police investigation after Evan Chandler accused the Thriller hitmaker of molesting his son Jordan in 1993.

The star was eventually cleared of any wrongdoing in the courts, paying the then-teenager $22 million (£13.8 million) for "personal injuries arising out of claims of negligence" in return for dropping a civil suit against him.

Jordan has never spoken publicly about the case - but Jermaine claims the 29 year old has come forward since Jackson's death, admitting the late superstar never molested him.

And Jermaine believes Jordan's dad Evan committed suicide earlier this month (Nov09) because his guilt over the false accusations was too much to bear.

He says, "From the '93 case, they were accusing him (Jackson) of just the most horrible things. This kid's father has committed suicide because he just couldn't take it and now the kid has come forward and said Michael never touched him."

Officials ruled 56-year-old Evan Chandler's death a suicide after he was found with a gunshot wound to the head and a revolver in his hand at his home in New Jersey.

I wish time could be turned back and MJ could see the love that was left behind. There is/was still people that loved him for the genious that he was. He was the most talented person that will probably ever walk this earth. And like every special person, they are super sensitive in their soul. I can not begin to imagine the pain the allegations caused him and the NEWS MEDIA HELPED TO DESTROY him. I really can't begin to stomach the reporters because they are like sharks feeding in a freenzy of untruth, but all the while trying desperately to make the truth into a lie. God help these people. Hollywood and the Entertainment world is a really sick place and Michael was right trying to shield his children from it. I love and miss him, the world is not the same without him. May you rest in peace Michael and your children be forever embraced by your families protection. Never believe what you have not seen with your own eyes!

It broke my heart when Jermaine said on tv that he wished it was himself that died instead of Michael. Nothing compares to losing family and in his case it was a brother. honestly i hope evan chandler is in hell for what he did. around the time the child molestation trials started was when Michael started having a dependency on drugs. it pisses me off because if there were never any molestation charges Michael would have never had to go through the stress, the pain of the whole storm of media against him and people actually believing he did it. I do feel like Michael would still be alive if not for that cause he would never started using drugs and going to rehab and not unable to get off drugs. really, just think about how badly the chandler family messed things up for Michael. i can't even fathom it.

Do not mistake my uncertainty for Michael-bashing. I'm not attempting to spread negative energy. It has hurt me deeply to hear and read of the scandals that plagued Michael. I've wept, ranted and been filled with dread and fear as I've gone over them since his death. I'm desperate for the truth. I'm familiar with "Earth Song", I'm sure the Jacksons are a close-knit family--but that doesn't mean we (the outside public) KNOW the truth. I want Michael's name and reputation cleared, but it's a very ugly, complex, dark set of issues and I can't claim to be sure of something that I'm not sure of (that Jordan was just waiting for Evan to drop dead so he could be free to come forward--why not come forward after Evan reportedly assaulted him in 2005-06?). In my opinion, it is indisputable that Michael's professional talent and skill were and are unparalleled. Michael's onstage/on-camera life is something we can review with our own eyes and ears. His offstage/off-camera life is not something to which we had full access. There are things unresolved that I hope can be resolved sooner rather than later. He was too talented to be left in this murky space.
