Jennifer Saunders - Jennifer Saunders Switches On Christmas Lights In Character

The British comedienne, who is preparing to revive the hit comedy TV show for a series of Christmas specials, arrived at the star-studded event in character as Edina Monsoon, wearing an outrageous trademark gold outfit.

Saunders was the centre of attention as she made jokes about the famous guests, including supermodel Kate Moss and Spice Girls star Emma Bunton, before switching on the festive light display.

The funnywoman also revealed Bunton, who appeared in an episode of Absolutely Fabulous in 2003, will be making another cameo along with cast regular Lulu in the reunion shows, which are due to air in the U.K. over Christmas (Dec11),

She says, "Everyone's still alive - phew!... With only three episodes there are a lot of people to pack in, but we've got the regulars, Lulu and Emma Bunton... It was a lovely thing going back. It all seemed the same, except at the read-through there was a lot of snapping open of spectacle cases and people bending low to read their scripts."
