Jennifer Love Hewitt Splits From Boyfriend Alex Bah

Jennifer Love Hewitt has split from her boyfriend Alex Bah, after less than a year of dating.

The 'Ghost Whisperer' actress started romancing the actor-and director last July but now the pair have decided to call time on their relationship, although the break-up is thought to have been amicable.

Jennifer's representative said: "They haven't been dating for a little while."

A friend of the actress also confirmed the news, adding that she is "doing well" in the wake of the split, although it is not known exactly when they broke up.

Jennifer, 32, began dating 27-year-old Alex four months after her split from her 'Ghost Whisperer' co-star Jamie Kennedy, who she dated for a year.

Jennifer - who was previously engaged to Scottish actor ROSS MCCALL - recently revealed she had picked out an array of engagement rings in case Alex proposed.

She said: "If it gets to that conversation. If marriage comes up, I'm like, 'You know what's so weird. There is this store and there are three rings in it. And if you chose one of these three, I'm going to be really excited. And if you go off on your own, we can have an awful, awkward moment. So why would you want to do that?' "
